In what year was Hongwu North Road named?
Named after Hongwu during Ming Taizu's reign. Hongwu Road is a street in Qinhuai District, Nanjing, China, which runs from north to south. The south crosses Baixia, the bridge crosses Zhonghua Road, and the middle Shandong Road connects Hongwu North Road to the north. It was named after Hongwu in Ming Taizu. Hongwu Road was originally the seat of Nantang Palace, hence the name of the southern inner bridge. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was named Lufei Lane, Laowangfu and Tujiekou, and it was one of the north-south main roads in Nanjing, leading directly to Jubaomen in the south. Lufei Lane is said to be the residence of Princess Lu of the Ming Dynasty. 1929, the National Government named it Hongwu Road. Widened at 1998. Hongwu North Road, located in Xuanwu Changjiang Road, Nanjing, was built by Nanjing Urban Construction and Development (Group) Corporation, with a total construction area of 1.86 million and a total area of 5422, with a total of 32 houses.
