Linjiang New Town will focus on building four functional areas that are mutually integrated and supported. The first is the core functional area of the city. Relying on the population introduced by the industrial economic development of Linjiang, driven by the radiation of the development of ecological leisure function, public service projects such as administrative centers, schools and hospitals are planned and built from a high starting point, and gradually become ecological residential areas and public activity centers with complete functions such as commerce, administration, public activities, education and health, and living facilities. The second is the industrial concentration area. Through the establishment of "base+company", we will focus on the development of automobile industry base, machinery and equipment base, new energy industry base, new material industry base and military-civilian cooperation industry base, and form a concentrated area for industrial economic development. The third is the port-based economic functional zone. Through the key development of the port, the overall development of the surrounding areas will be promoted, and a port-oriented economic zone with logistics, marine equipment and port-oriented industry as the core will be formed. The fourth is the ecological leisure function area. Through the integration of ecological wetlands, ecological leisure areas with their own characteristics will be formed. Focus on the development and construction of wetland parks, and develop characteristic water sports projects, ecological leisure projects and ecological agriculture parks.

Linjiang New Town has unique development advantages. First, the transportation is convenient. Linjiang is away from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport 12km. Jiangdong Avenue and Qianjiang Avenue will meet at Linjiang after completion. The only 3,000-ton sea terminal in Hangzhou is planned to be located on the east side of Linjiang, and the planned subway lines 7 and 8 and railway freight lines will be directly connected to Linjiang. Second, the space is vast. Linjiang has flat terrain, superior geological conditions, solid foundation, stable stratum and strong bearing capacity, which can meet the special geological requirements of large-scale machinery manufacturing projects such as automobiles and mechanical equipment. Third, the cost is low. Linjiang has a small amount of demolition and obvious advantages in business cost. Fourth, the facilities are complete. Linjiang itself has invested more than 2 billion yuan in infrastructure construction. Up to now, the infrastructure and public facilities such as roads, power supply, water supply, heat supply, gas supply, sewage discharge and various pipelines in the park are improving day by day.

Linjiang's industrial agglomeration is accelerating. At present, we are vigorously developing leading industries such as auto parts, machinery and equipment, new energy and new materials, cultivating and developing high-tech industries such as electronic information and laser equipment, actively developing modern service industries such as R&D design, intermediary creativity, cultural tourism, trade and logistics, and upgrading and developing traditional advantageous industries such as light industry and textile.
