School of Computer and Information, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, was founded in 1993, formerly known as Computing Center of Fujian Forestry College. The Department of Computer Science was established in July,1995; From June 5438 to October 2000, the former Fujian Agricultural University and the former Fujian Forestry College merged into Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.
In May, 20001year, the former Advanced Mathematics Teaching and Research Section of Computer Science Department and Basic Science Department of Fujian Forestry College merged with the former Advanced Mathematics Teaching and Research Section and Computer Teaching and Research Section of Basic Science Department of Fujian Agricultural University to form the Computer and Information College of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.

The college adheres to the school-running philosophy of "quality, science and technology, talents, reform and culture", adheres to the development of connotation and characteristics, and steadily improves the quality of running schools.
There are two master's programs in computer science and technology and statistics, and five undergraduate enrollment majors in computer science and technology, statistics, cyberspace security, electronic information engineering and software engineering.
