Lin Ling is a guzheng player and educator. Professor of China Conservatory of Music, tutor of master's degree in guzheng; Master tutor of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, Capital Normal University and Art College of Xiamen University; Lecturer of "Guzheng Performance Course" in China TV Teachers College of CCTV. 1977 was admitted to the middle school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music, 198 1 entered the instrumental music department of China Conservatory of Music. 1985 was recommended as the first guzheng graduate student to study for a master's degree without examination, and studied under Professor Cao Zheng. 1987 got a master's degree and has stayed in school to teach.

Over the years, he has participated in various major performances at home and abroad and visited dozens of countries and regions such as Asia, Europe and the United States on behalf of the country. Many personal concerts and lectures have been held at home and abroad. With profound traditional performance skills and contemporary interpretation, he was praised as "the first contemporary young guzheng player in China" by Wen Wei Po and other news media.
