Zhang Zhendong 1
Zhang Zhendong (1907-1984), a native of Lu' an county, joined the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants in 1928 and China in 1929. After the founding of New China, he served as commander of Subei Military Region and deputy commander of Anhui Military Region, and 1955 was awarded the rank of Major General.
