Introduction to Wuhan University:

Wuhan University, referred to as "Wu Da" for short, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the Central Government of People's Republic of China (PRC). Ranked as "world-class universities and first-class disciplines", "985 project" and "2 1 1 project".

He was selected for the Everest Plan, the Strong Foundation Plan, the 20 1 1 plan, the1plan, the education and training plan for outstanding engineers, the education and training plan for outstanding legal talents, the education and training plan for outstanding doctors, the postgraduate plan for the construction of national high-level universities, and the new national engineering research.

The history of the school can be traced back to 1893, and Zhang Zhidong, governor of Huguang, established a self-improvement school at the invitation of the Qing government. After inheritance and evolution, it was named National Wuhan University in 1928, which was the first batch of national universities in modern China. In 2000, Wuhan University merged with Wuhan University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping and Hubei Medical University to form the new Wuhan University.
