Black-faced frog is a simple teenager who looks happy most of the time. He has a strong sense of justice and unyielding personality. He sometimes shows impulsiveness and irritability, but he always treats his friends sincerely, both in words and actions. He has two best friends, Liku and Kelly.

Sola is about 4 years old in Sleeping Kingdom, 14 years old at the beginning of kingdom hearts and kingdom hearts-Memory Chain, and 15 years old in Kingdom Heart 2.
