Gong Pengcheng: Gong Pengcheng, a famous writer and master of Chinese studies in Taiwan Province, was born in Gongjiacun. He graduated from China Institute of Literature, Taiwan Province Normal University with a Ph.D., served as Dean of the College of Literature of Tamkang University, the first president of South China University and Foguang University in Taiwan Province Province, and the president of Eurasia University in the United States. He has won Zhongshan Literature Award, Zhongxing Literature Award and Taiwan Province Excellent Research Award. Since 2004, he has been a professor at Beijing Normal University, Tsinghua University and Nanjing Normal University. Now he is a professor of Chinese Department in Peking University. Gong Pengcheng is proficient in China literature, China history, China philosophy and China religion. He is a top scholar and famous thinker who enjoys a good reputation in the Chinese world at home and abroad. He often compares himself with Confucius and inspires himself. Gong Pengcheng was born in Taibei, 1956. He is the third son of Gong Lichuan, a former "constant treasure" in Qijialing (Gong Lichuan went to Taiwan Province Province alone before liberation). He has two brothers in Gongjiacun. His eldest brother Gong Qiliang is an art teacher in Qixia Middle School, and his second brother Gong Yousheng is the director of the Education, Culture and Health Office of Qingyuan District People's Congress.
