Main responsibilities:

To formulate and organize the implementation of national economic and social development strategies, medium and long-term plans, annual plans, industrial policies and price policies;

To study and analyze the economic situation and development at home and abroad, and monitor and regulate the operation of the national economy;

Put forward macro-control policy suggestions, be responsible for the adjustment of daily economic operation, and organize and solve major problems in economic operation;

The Development and Reform Commission is also entrusted by the State Council to make a report on the national economic and social development plan to the National People's Congress;
