What's interesting about building a harbor reservoir? Brief introduction of jiangang reservoir.
Jiangang Reservoir is a very important water source in Zhengzhou City, and its surrounding environment has been well protected. All kinds of fish in the reservoir live freely and the ecological environment is excellent. It has become a place for many citizens and tourists to visit, especially hiking or cycling on weekends and holidays. Let's introduce it in detail below.

1, location and basic information

Jiangang Reservoir is located in the upper reaches of West Jia Luhe in Jiangang Village, Houzhai Township, Erqi District, Zhengzhou City. Belonging to the He Ying River system of Huaihe River Basin, it is a key medium-sized reservoir for large-scale reservoir management. The reservoir area is Y-shaped and is a double trunk reservoir, with a controlled basin area of 1 13 square kilometers, a total storage capacity of 60.7 million cubic meters, a dam crest elevation of 158.52 meters and a water level of 154.75 meters. (The above data comes from the information released by Zhengzhou Water Affairs Bureau)

Jiangang Reservoir was built at 1959, stopped at 1960, re-measured at 1965 and re-measured at 1969. 1970 10 month, stop the river to store water. It was reinforced again in 2008. The flood control design standard is once in a hundred years, and the check standard is once in five thousand years.

The location of the reservoir is very dangerous. The downstream of the reservoir is close to Zhengzhou High-tech Development Zone, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Longhai Railway, National Highway 3 10, Zhengzhou Waterworks, Thermal Power Plant and other important facilities. It is the top priority of urban flood control and the key project of urban reservoir flood control. It is related to the property safety of Zhengzhou people. Over the years, it has been called "a basin of water on Zhengzhou's head" by the citizens. It is one of the 27 key reservoirs for flood control in China.

In 2000, it was listed as a backup water source in Zhengzhou City. Before the South-to-North Water Transfer Project introduced water into Zhengzhou, Jiangang Reservoir provided nearly 50% domestic water for Zhengzhou residents.

2.[ Meteorology] [Hydrology] Hydrometeorology

Jia Luhe originated in Shengshuiyu Village, Baizhai Town, xinmi city, and its upstream main stream is 26.3km long. He Miao River of nine niang River joins it at about 1km upstream of the dam site. This tributary originated in the northeast of Xinmi, and its main stream is 10km long, basically Y-shaped, belonging to Shuanggan River.

Jia Luhe is close to the Yellow River Basin and belongs to the edge of China's warm and semi-humid monsoon climate. It is characterized by four distinct seasons, long winter and summer, short spring and autumn, good lighting conditions, high temperature and rainy summer and windy and dry winter.

The annual average temperature in the basin is 14.3, the lowest temperature is-15.3, and the highest temperature is 4 1.4. The annual average evaporation of water surface is1300mm, and that of land is 550mm. The average annual rainfall in the basin is 650mm, 70% of which is concentrated in July, August and September, and most of them appear in the form of heavy rain. According to statistics, the maximum annual rainfall is113mm (1958) and the minimum annual rainfall is 230mm (1969).

3. Main buildings and parameters

The dam is a homogeneous earth dam, with a maximum dam height of 34. 1m, a maximum bottom width of 2 12.5m, a crest width of 8.0m, a crest length of 460m, a crest elevation of 158.60m, and a wave wall of 1.0m on the crest.

Spillway tunnel: located under the west dam shoulder, it is an unpressurized concrete tunnel with a maximum flow of 75m/s.

Water conveyance tunnel: circular reinforced concrete penstock with inner diameter of 1. 1m and maximum flow rate of 9.5m/s.

Spillway: located on the west side of the dam, with bottom elevation 154.75m, width of 30m and maximum discharge of 350m3.

4. Water source protection

Jiangang Reservoir is divided into primary water source protection zones and secondary water source protection zones. The first-class water source protection zone starts from the dam and reaches Houzhai Bridge and Dongquan Bridge in the south, with a total water surface of 4.26 square kilometers. The rest are secondary protected areas, covering an area of 22.7 square kilometers. There is a perimeter fence around the dam, which is more than 2000 meters around the dam and about 4000 meters in the Helou River.
