Fan Jinshi, female, Han nationality, born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, 1938 was born in Beiping in July. He used to be president of Dunhuang Research Institute, and now he is honorary president and research librarian of Dunhuang Research Institute, adjunct professor of Lanzhou University, doctoral supervisor of Dunhuang Studies, and president of Changjiang Institute of Civilization and Archaeology.
1963 after graduation, Peking University worked in Dunhuang research institute for nearly 60 years and was known as the "daughter of Dunhuang". Mainly committed to grotto archaeology, grotto scientific protection and management. Member of the 8th-12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was hired as a librarian in central research institute of culture and history in June 2007.
