(1930 April13 ~1968 April 8), formerly known as Yan, was born in Luoling, Tongcheng County, Anhui Province (now Huangmei Village, Luoling Town, Yixiu District, Anqing City).

Female, party member, an outstanding performing artist of Huangmei Opera, one of the founders of Huangmei Opera in China, the shaper of "Seven Fairys" and an important pioneer and contributor to the inheritance and development of Huangmei Opera in China. /kloc-at the age of 0/0, Yan Fengying began to learn to sing Huangmei tune, which his people could not tolerate. Later, he studied opera with Yan Yun, whose stage name was Feng Ying. 1952 At the first East China Opera Concert held in Shanghai, Yan Fengying won wide acclaim for his traditional Huangmei opera "Beating Pig Grass" and the passbook drama "Lu Yu".

1954 was famous all over the country for playing the seven fairies in Huangmei opera movie "The Fairy Couple". He has served as honorary president of Huangmei Opera Academy in Anqing City, Anhui Province, member of the 3rd China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and member of the 4th China People's Political Consultative Conference. Persecuted to death, the ashes are now placed in Huangmeiting, Linghu Park, Anqing City, and there is a memorial hall for Yan Fengying's former residence in Luoling, Anqing City.

The life of the character

Yan Fengying's representative works of Huangmei Opera include Beating Pig Grass, Youchun, Immortal Couple, Female Xu-ma, Cowherd and Weaver Girl, Watching the Lights and Couples, etc. Because his father Yan Siming divorced his mother, when Yan Fengying was four or five years old, he returned to Luo Jialing where his grandparents lived and learned to sing many local folk songs.

Because of the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, her father Yan Siming also returned to his hometown. When she was bored, she was taught to sing Peking Opera, which exposed her to the art of drama. When she was a teenager, Yan, a family member who had participated in the troupe, brought Huangmei Opera back. He opened his own shop to make a living, and at the same time, he received apprentices to teach art, so Yan Fengying formed an indissoluble bond with Huangmei Opera.
