Jiangsu Communications Technician College (Jiangsu Communications Senior Technical School) was founded in 1984 and is a national key institution approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. The college is located in Jianbi Town, Zhenjiang City, at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Sunan Canal. It has beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. It covers an area of 227,500 square meters (about 34 1.27 mu) and has a building area of 76,000 square meters. There are 5,338 intermediate technical students, senior technical students and technician students, of which senior technical students and technician students account for more than half of the total number of students. In 2008, it trained 8000 people on the job, which is the transportation system of Jiangsu Province. Now there are 44 majors in six categories, including highway construction, highway maintenance, road construction machinery, ports and logistics.
