Longxi village, located on the east bank of the old county, is an administrative village in the old county township of Shanghang County, with the old county river and the old county bridge in the west, the old white highway passing through the village, facing the township government across the river, adjacent to Hedong Village in the north, bounded by the mouth of Jiuqu River in the south, and "Prince Riding Dragon", "Immortal Sacrifice Palm", "Crossing Stone Dragon", "Yanzi Rock" and "Shang" in the east. The village covers an area of about 3000 square meters. At present, there are more than 360 households with over 360 people in the village 1.600, and there are 9 villagers' groups under its jurisdiction. Its origin, the village from Longtougang to Xiaoxikou is called Longxi, which was inhabited in the Ming Dynasty. The population of the village is over 90%.

Longxi village is an outstanding man. In the Qing Dynasty, more than ten scholars, including Chen Jiyun, Chen and others, devoted themselves to running schools. During the imperial examinations in Ming and Qing Dynasties, they set up private schools in places such as "Paper in Liaoxia", "Book in Bei Tang" and "Book in Tangli", which made rural talents come forth in large numbers. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War after the Republic of China, there were 23 well-documented revolutionary martyrs, including Chen Lianbiao who participated in the Long March, the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army and was awarded the rank of senior colonel after liberation, as well as Yang Chen and Lieutenant Colonel. After liberation, Chen Qifang, a student who was admitted to Peking University for the first time in the old county, used to be a professor at Fujian Normal University. He is the author of The Study of Zhuzi in Fujian, and has unique opinions on the study of Zhuzi at home and abroad. Chen Liangwan, associate professor of Fujian Medical College, vice president of Union Medical College Hospital and postdoctoral fellow, enjoys a high reputation in cardiac surgery both inside and outside the province. In 2006, he was named one of the "Top Ten" people who moved Fujian.

Xiaoxikou was once a prosperous area in the last century or two, where the old county market for more than a hundred years was located, and Xiaoxikou pier was crowded with merchants. In the early days of liberation in 1950s, the district and township governments of the old counties were all located in longxi village, which was the economic and political center. The old county middle school is located in Longtougang in the village.

There are several ancient houses in longxi village in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as Yiyitang in Longtougang, Huidi Hall in Xiaoxikou and Shi Jian Palace, with three halls and two rows. Fangci Temple in front of Yansi Temple in the village, Qibao Wang Gong at the mouth of Jiuqu Creek, and now Jiulong Palace and Zhenyou Palace all integrate entertainment, tourism and appreciation. Longtougang is listed as a century-old banyan tree protected at the provincial level, with a diameter of 5 meters, and there are pavilions and towns and friends' palaces next to it, which is an ideal place for villagers in this village and Hedong to have entertainment activities. It is also a beautiful scenery at the entrance of the old county middle school. Longtougang Dragon Lantern used to be a traditional brand of a famous village. According to geological exploration data, our village has gold, silver, copper and shaft mineral resources.
