During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as a soldier, squad leader and bodyguard of the head of the armed forces of the Gongsi Army Security Bureau. Participated in the anti-three-way siege and anti-six-way siege in the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base area, and the Red Fourth Front Army fought hard with the marked army. During War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's time, he served as a trainee and guard in the radio training class of Xinjiang New Barracks. 1940 After returning to Yan 'an, he served as the operator, staff officer and researcher of the Second Military Commission. During the War of Liberation, he served as the captain, political instructor and section chief of confidential training in the Second Bureau of the Central Military Commission. Participated in Liaoshen Campaign, Ping Jin Campaign and Huaihai Campaign. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as deputy director, director and deputy director of the Third Military Commission, director of the Third Lanzhou Military Region and deputy chief of staff of the Military Command.
