The History of Flowers in Gansu Province
The early study of "Hua 'er" began during the May 4th New Culture Movement. The Ballad Weekly sponsored by the Peking University Ballad Research Association was founded on 1922+02 17. Hua 'er Collection is a monograph on Hua 'er, which was published in Chongqing by Zhang Yu 1942. Zhang took advantage of his position as an editor of Gansu Republic Daily in Lanzhou to openly collect Huaer, which was circulated in Qingning, Gansu, and published lyrics and research articles in the newspaper. 10 years, Zhang carefully collected more than 600 pieces of "flowers", including anti-Japanese teenagers 12 pieces. Qiao Jianzhong, former director of the Music Research Institute of China Academy of Art, wrote an article in the third issue of Music Research in 2004, praising him as "the first rich and in-depth monograph on flower research, which will become an outstanding research in folklore and musicology and the first stone of modern flower research".
