Anhui Finance and Trade Vocational College is a full-time college approved by Anhui Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is a national model vocational college of supply and marketing cooperatives and an Anhui model vocational college. In June 2004, with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government, Anhui Finance and Trade Vocational College was independently established on the basis of Hefei Vocational and Technical College of Anhui Finance and Trade College.
