Peter walker, born in 1932, is a contemporary internationally renowned landscape architect, a representative of minimalist design, a director of the American Association of Landscape Architects (ASLA), a certified landscape architect of the American Association of Registered Landscape Architects (CLARB), a member of the American Urban Design Society, an honorary award winner of the American Association of Designers and an urban design and planning award winner of the American Association of Landscape Architects. He has rich practical and teaching experience and has been active in the field of landscape design education. 1978- 198 1 was the head of the landscape design department of the graduate school of design, Harvard University. 1983, Peter walker Partner Landscape Design Office was established in Berkeley, California. His most famous work is Invisible Garden: Modernism in Search of American Landscape, which was completed in collaboration with Melania Simon. Peter walker has more than 50 years of practical experience in landscape design. Each of his projects has been integrated with rich historical and traditional knowledge, adapted to the needs of the times, and has superb construction technology. People can see simple and modern forms, strong classical elements, mysterious breath and primitive breath in his design.
