1, Yang Wanli

Yang Wanli (1127-1206), whose real name is Ting Xiu, is a famous writer and philosopher in the Southern Song Dynasty, and is a historical celebrity surnamed Yang. Yang Wanli's poetry has a unique style, forming a sincere style, which has a great influence on later generations.

Yang Wanli studied Jiangxi Poetry School, followed by Chen Shidao's Five Laws and Wang Anshi's Seven Musts, followed by Tang Poetry. Together with Lu You, You Mao and Fan Chengda, they are called "Four Poets of Zhongxing" in the Southern Song Dynasty.

2. Yang Zhen

Yang Zhen, whose name was Qi Bo, was the son of Bao Yang, a famous minister in the Eastern Han Dynasty and a hermit. Yang Zhen, born in Hongnongyang, is a world-famous scholar. He studied Ouyang Shangshu with him when he was young. He is familiar with classics and reads widely, and is known as "Confucius Yang Qi Bo in Kansai". Yang is really an honest and upright official, strong and outspoken, so he is hated by eunuch Fan Feng. Yan Guang three years (124), was impeached and dismissed from office, and was sent back to his hometown, drinking zhenniao on the way. After Emperor Shun of Han succeeded to the throne, the imperial edict was rehabilitated.

3. Yang Ye

Yang Ye, formerly known as Chonggui, is often said in this play as a famous Yang Jiajiang in the history of China and the first generation descendant of the Yang family. Yang Ye, a famous Northern Song Dynasty scholar, didn't read much, but he was brave and resourceful. After the establishment of the Northern Han Dynasty, he followed Liu Chong, the ancestor of the Northern Han Dynasty, as the defense commander. He is famous for his bravery and has repeatedly made meritorious military service, and is called "Yang Invincible".

In the fifth year of Taiping and rejuvenating the country (980), the Liao army was defeated in the battle of Yanmenguan, and the Qidan earthquake occurred. In the third year of Yongxi (986), he went north with the army, was bullied by Wang Shu, the army supervisor, and decided to go out with his troops. As a result, it was defeated in Langya village and did not get support. Finally, he was surrounded by Chen Goo Goo, and he was injured in dozens of places. Yang Ye still hide, holding hundreds of knives, was exhausted by the qidan army. Yang Ye was outraged, and died after a three-day hunger strike to show his loyalty.

4. Yang Weizhen

Yang Weizhen (1296—1370), whose real name was Lianfu, was a famous poet, writer and painter in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, and his surname was Yang. The most distinctive feature of Yang Weizhen's poems is his ancient Yuefu poems, which are graceful and touching, heroic and natural. They are called "Iron Cliff Style" in history, and are highly praised by scholars of all ages.

Yang Weizhen's calligraphy is the most skillful in cursive script, and his brushwork is rock-breaking. There is a trend of "the general moves the troops, the three armies play the victory, the axe is broken, and the battle example is returned". His handed down works include Zhou Shangqing's Epitaph in regular script, Zhang Tongbo's Hidden Table in running script, and Haitang City's Sleepwalking Poem Volume in cursive script. And the rest of the ink is mostly found in books and calligraphy and painting inscriptions.

5. Su Yang

Su Yang (544-606), a native of Huayin County, Hongnong County, was a strategist, a powerful minister and a poet in the Sui Dynasty, and was one of the famous figures surnamed Yang in history. According to historical records, although Su Yang grew up poor, both his father and grandfather were great officials. His grandfather Yang Xuan was a general who assisted the country in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and his father Yang Fu was the secretariat of Fenzhou in the Northern Zhou Dynasty.
