Sun Wu was born in Qi at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period. He was a great strategist in ancient China. He was born in Qi Le 'an (now Huimin County, Shandong Province). Sun Wu's real name is Chen, and his ancestor Chen Wan fled to Qi in the fifth year of King Hui of Zhou (672 BC) and changed his name to Tian. Tianwan's fifth Sun Tianshu, whose real name is Zi Zhan, is Sun Wu's grandfather. He was a doctor when he was in Qi Jinggong. Later, Qi Jinggong named Le 'an abel tamata as a book and gave his surname Sun Shi for his meritorious service in cutting Ju 'an.
