When was the China Public Relations Association established? China Public Relations Association (CPRA) was established in 1987, and is composed of enterprises, institutions, social organizations and individuals related to public relations. It is the earliest national public relations social organization established in China, and it is a non-profit social organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The competent business unit is the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee (the State Council Press Office). [ 1]

At present, China Public Relations Association has 10 professional committees: Academic Committee, Government Public Relations Committee, Corporate Public Relations Committee, Culture and Art Committee, Press and Communication Committee, Education and Training Committee, International Exchange and Cooperation Committee with Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, Expert Advisory Committee, New Technology Committee and Cultural Big Data Industry Committee.
