Qi Jiguang (1528, 165438+ 10, 12- 1588, 65438+ 10, 5) is a native of Dengzhou, Shandong. A famous anti-Japanese general and strategist in the Ming Dynasty, he is equally famous. His father Qi Jingtong was an official of Caoyun (now Luqiao Town, Weishan County, Shandong Province), and Qi Jiguang was also born here. On that day, he led troops to fight against the invading Japanese invaders in the coastal areas of Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong. After more than ten years and more than eighty wars, he finally wiped out the sufferings of the enemy, was praised as a national hero by modern China, and died in Wuyi. The world called the army he led "Qijiajun". There are many military works and poems handed down from generation to generation, and Qi Jiguang Memorial Hall is now a patriotic education base in Fujian Province. In addition, the film and TV series "Qi Jiguang" was broadcast simultaneously. Qi Jiguang's ancestral home was in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, and later he moved to Dingyuan (now Anhui) and Dengzhou (now Penglai), Shandong. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Qi Xiang, the sixth ancestor, moved to Dingyuan, Anhui Province, joined the peasant army led by Guo Zixing and moved around with Zhu Yuanzhang. After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, Qi Xiangzhan died in the battle of Pingyuan, Yunnan. The Ming government remembered his achievements, and let his son Qi Bin take over from Deng Zhouwei to take charge of the state affairs and move back to Shandong for the general. Qi Jingtong, the father from Qi Bin to Qi Jiguang, has been in this position for nearly 140 years after the Five Dynasties. After Qi Jingtong took office, he served as the commander-in-chief of the capital, the director of the capital of Daning, the general manager of Jiangnan water transport, and also served in the imperial military camp. On the first day of October in the seventh year of Jiajing (1528 65438+ 10/2), Qi Jiguang was born in Luqiao, a small town in the southeast of Jining, Shandong. The next day, when the sun was shining, Qi Jingtong named his son Jiguang, hoping that he would inherit the glory of his ancestors and carry it forward.
