Wang Jianbo, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Deputy Director of Electron Microscope Center, School of Physics, Wuhan University; Executive director of China Electron Microscopy Society, member of Physics and Materials Professional Committee, director of Hubei Electron Microscopy Society; Supported by the Ministry of Education's "Outstanding Talents Support Plan for the New Century" (2007) and the Hubei Young Outstanding Talents Fund (2005); He won the first prize of natural science in Hubei Province (ranked 4th in 2005) and excellent doctoral thesis in Hubei Province.

Mainly engaged in electron microscope characterization and related simulation calculation of nano-and even atomic-scale ultrastructure of solid materials. There are 2 national natural science funds, the Ministry of Education's "New Century Outstanding Talents Support Program" fund 1, the Hubei Province Outstanding Young Talents Fund 1, and the Ministry of Education's "Overseas Students Venture Fund" 1. Published nearly 100 scientific research papers.

The main courses include the application of modern physical methods in material characterization, modern solid state physics (for college teachers), postgraduate courses such as solid state physics experiment (organization) and undergraduate courses such as mechanics (including theoretical mechanics), general physics (including optics) and modern solid state analysis. In 2006, he won the excellent course (Optics, ranked 4th) in Hubei Province. Other teaching awards include the Excellent Undergraduate Teaching Quality Award, the Excellent Postgraduate Course and the First Prize of the Young Teachers' Teaching Competition twice.
