Wu Yongxiang, a native of Xiangyin (now Miluo City), Hunan Province, was born in May of 19 14 and died in March of 1970 at the age of 56. Was awarded the title of "revolutionary martyr" by the state.
/kloc-joined the Chinese red army of workers and peasants in 0/930 and China in 0/932. 1952 served as the commander of the 2nd1Army of the People's Liberation Army of China, and 1953 was ordered to lead the 2nd1Army of Chinese people's Volunteer Army into the Korean War. 1955 was awarded the rank of Major General of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and won the second-class "August 1st" medal, the second-class "Independence and Freedom" medal and the first-class "Liberation" medal. 1964 member of the 4th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
