Monkey King, a natural stone monkey, was born in water curtain cave, Huaguoshan, and studied under his tutelage. Build a road. Turn the dragon into the tiger, forcing the whole family to die. A golden hoop, sweeping the world, arrogant and strong, never obedient all his life.

His master is a man named Bodhi Bodhi.

I wrote an article a long time ago to discuss the levels and differences of the five immortals in heaven and earth. There, I once said that Bodhi was not as good as Zhenyuan Daxian. First, Xuecheng Avenue in Wukong experienced a "forced selling to death" after Duan Long fell into the tiger's mouth. At that time, it was clearly recorded in the book of life and death in the underworld that "the monkey king, born as a stone monkey, should live for 342 years and die naturally."

All wet!

Because you know that Wukong became sworn brothers at that time, and the other six brothers were not good people. Judging from the avatar, they should all be equal. Since Wukong can and has been forced to cancel his death, what about the six? Were the six of them forced to sell their dead books? Is hell occasionally trampled by a miraculous monster? Don't you have any files on other six demons in the underworld?

Besides, there are monsters stronger than Brother Seven in the world!

So why does this only happen to the Monkey King?

In the division of heaven, earth, gods and ghosts (the order is correct, Tathagata in CCTV's new westward journey didn't understand, and his old man said that heaven, earth, gods and ghosts directly made Zhang Sanfeng surpass the Jade Emperor:).

With the magical power of Wukong after graduation, he swept the Heavenly Palace and defeated the four heavenly kings, Li Jing and Nezha. What can sweep the celestial world is at least a higher level. At that time, Wukong did not have the ability to make an alchemist, and his accumulation in the future basically depended on eating peaches. So he can only be a fairy. In view of the fact that he can't beat Yuan, the ancestor of the celestial world, he should be only a little above average in the celestial world.

At that time, since Wukong had the ability to be immortal, he should be treated as a fairy at the same time. None of his other six brothers were harassed by hell. It should be because they all have the ability and treatment of actual fairies. Which ghost fairy dares to provoke them, will not be used by them to preach drums and bells to drink numbers. Long live! ...

Therefore, Wukong's rather special experience can only explain one fact: Wukong is not a fairy at all. From beginning to end, he never established a real connection with heaven. So his master, Bodhi, will not be a fairy!

-Then what are they?

Second, the problem of looking in the mirror.

This problem has been bothering me for a long time. Wukong openly confronted the Heavenly Palace twice, and both times he met King Tota Li Tian, who had a demon mirror. However, there were two confrontations before and after, one under the care of Erlang God, and this magic mirror has been useless. It does not pose any threat to Wukong. At that time, the last way to solve Wukong's changes was to lock the pipa.

After a long time, Wukong fought with Liu Er's macaque, and it was hard to tell whether it was true or not. I appeared in the demon mirror for the second time when I was playing in the Heavenly Palace. In the mirror, I saw two great sages. Their clothes, gold hoops and iron bars were exactly the same.

Strangely enough. If the magic mirror works for Wukong, there should be only two monkeys in the mirror ... why do they just look at an ordinary mirror in front of the magic mirror and can't even filter out clothes and so on? ……

However, we can't say that the magic mirror is a useless thing, so Niu Wangmo is so wonderful. He and Wukong fought fiercely for a day and a night, but they didn't lose. If you press this magic, where is Nezha's opponent? ! However, once the magic mirror shines on Shen Yuan, the old cow can no longer soar and change, only a slaughtered vegetable cow.

Why is the difference so big? !

One day, I suddenly remembered Godzilla and the cold-blooded monster that the infrared tracking missile couldn't hit, and it suddenly dawned on me. If we assume that all kinds of magic weapons in the celestial world (except direct attacks such as golden hoop sticks and magic pestle) are special weapons with different positioning, the problem will be simple at once. If a person does not have the necessary conditions for magic weapon attack, magic weapon can't control him naturally.

This problem is more complicated, because it mainly revolves around magic weapons, so give several apotheosis examples. As we all know, Nezha is the embodiment of the lotus. Lotus has no soul, so Nezha is not afraid of any magic weapon that attacks the soul as soon as it takes shape. This is Nezha's great achievement, otherwise, he will be reduced to the golden mean role on an equal footing with Huang Tianhua and Hu Wei. You know, even Nezha's master Taiyi has a soul. )

Yang Jian is much better. Nezha is not afraid of the magic weapon of the soul, while Yang Jian, on the contrary, is not afraid of anything but the magic weapon of the soul. (At that time, he was just a fairy figure, but in the whole book, except for the archbishop-level treasures, such as the sword of slaughter and extinction, which had to escape because of the disparity in level, the magic weapon of other master levels was connected by force! Wenzhong's dragon whip, Deng Chanyu's five-colored stone, and even the wide jade pavilion are all hard-wired! I've never seen Yang Jian knocked off his horse by a treasure. (Nezha N times, Huang Tianhua and countless others ...)

And Yang Jian's immunity to various plagues is the same as that of Nezha's lotus.

Explain the seventy-two changes here. The use of this spell is far from as simple as we thought before. You know, since many magic weapons are aimed at specific targets, in principle, the extremely unstable seventy-two changes can avoid all these magic weapons-such as SARS virus, and there must be an impregnable fortress no matter how arrogant. If a 72-year-old person is attacked by a virus, his changes will naturally change some of his genes, some of which will become animal genes immune to SARS virus (for example, he will directly produce SARS vaccine) ...

Are you confused? ..... Please raise your hand if you understand! Well, there are so many smart people!

Seventy-two changes are like this, and most magic weapons should be helpless in the face of this magical power. In addition, Yang Jian also has the kung fu of nine turns to Yuan Gong, which is similar to the advanced iron cloth shirt. King Kong is not bad, and the general direct attack (popular physical attack) after debut can be completely ignored.

Wukong's two skills are roughly equivalent to Yang Jian's. The old cow is a little weak, seventy-two changes, and may not have nine yuan of work.

As I said before, Yuan Gong can resist almost all magic weapons except the soul magic weapon, but the magic mirror is the soul. There is no way for this magic weapon to go to heaven, but it has never worked for the Monkey King and should be effective.

Why?

Third, Wukong's investment in Tangseng Gate was more like a deal at first. The Tang Priest saved him, and he protected Tang Priest from following the Western Classics. In his heart, except gratitude, he may not even look at his master.

However, a few years later, things changed.

Wukong seems to have slowly discovered the Tang Priest, the significance of learning from the scriptures, and more importantly, himself!

He began to pay attention to Tang Priest. In Pingdingshan, he praised the clouds above Tang Priest's head. In Tongtian River, he said to Lao Chen, "My master will not die, and he will live a long life." In the Lama Temple in front of the bottomless pit, the Tang priest was ill for three days, and I don't know the cause and effect. When an unjust case occurred in Diling County, Tongtai Prefecture, Wukong put up with it on the first night, that is, deliberately put up with it, because he knew that Master had this robbery.

He learned from his teacher that Master was a golden cicada and the second disciple of the Tathagata.

Why does he understand all these mysterious things? !

The Monkey King has been boasting that I didn't know for thousands of years. Anyone who is a little more subtle knows that he is talking big. Wukong was 342 years old from birth to enlightenment to forced death. After that, I spent 100 years in Tiangong and 500 years under Wuxing Mountain. He is only a thousand years old at most. There are many monsters in this era.

Wukong knelt down under the bodhi ancestor's seat, and the bodhi ancestor said, "You have been in our door for ten generations." The predecessors of his family are the generation of wisdom, truth, sea eagle, enlightenment and Wukong. However, the word "bodhi old zu" was not in the previous book, but it was gone later. Bodhi disappeared without a trace, mysterious, as if he had been waiting there for more than 300 years for a monkey crossing the sea with a bamboo valve. ...

Why would he do that? Who is he? ……

The old monkey on Huaguoshan told Wukong that there are no dead people in the world, only Buddha, immortal and sacred.

Wukong's achievements are not only sacred but also immortal. As we discussed before, he is not a fairy, so what is he? There is only one answer, he is a Buddhist disciple!

Because he is actually a Buddhist disciple, in reality Bodhi achieved Wukong's Buddha fruit with Taoist magical powers. Therefore, there is no record of the Monkey King anywhere. It is still a process for the hell to catch him. It is impossible to look at the demon mirror and lock a Buddhist disciple who transcends the celestial world!

This is the truth of the matter.

It took the Monkey King more than 1000 years to go west. Let's make a hypothesis. Just as Wukong flew out of the fairy stone, a baby was born on earth. He was born a monk!

Monks grow up slowly, get old and die. He will still be a monk in his next life! This man is a monk from birth to death, from death to life, from birth to death, from death to death, from death to death, from death to death. The ninth monk, the tenth monk.

This man became the tenth monk, and by the end of his life, he had been robbed in the world for nearly a thousand years. Maybe it was a coincidence that he finally came to him. It was the Tang Dynasty. The emperor of the dynasty chose him from thousands of Buddhists and Monks to perform a great task and learn from the West!

This man is Tang Priest!

Although Tang Priest and the Monkey King are nominally apprentices, they are actually one. That rude and maverick western believer. He was banished to earth a thousand years ago. His cowardly, refined and Buddha-like side became the Tang Priest, and his unruly side became the immortal stone and Wukong. Bodhi spent ten lives on earth in order to achieve Wukong. On the other hand, Tang Yan spent more time trying to complete his tenth quest for Tao. Wukong and Tang Priest are ten generations of disciples! They are simply two sides of a person's good and evil. That man is the golden cicada!

Because the Tang Priest and Wukong are basically one, Wukong has become more and more familiar with Tang Priest, that is to say, with himself, during his fourteen years of Buddhist scriptures. Although he was rebellious, he finally woke up in the middle of the night. Knowing the sad truth, I, not me! Since then, he has made clear the cause and effect of thousands of years. Even during his relegation, he never forgot his master. He knows very well that Tang Priest will not die, because he is not dead himself!

The subsequent process is just a game, a game that gradually recasts the two poles of good and evil into one. Do you remember? During the Lingshan ceremony, Wukong stood side by side with Tang Priest. Wukong said to the Tang Priest, "Master, now I am a Buddha, just like you ..."

There is real meaning here, who knows? Every time I read this, my eyes are full of tears. ……

The golden cicada formed both good and evil in the shadow of the Tathagata in his last life. In the next millennium, the one who tied the bell is needed to solve the problem. The good side of the golden cicada struggled to convert to Buddhism, while the evil side of the golden cicada naturally needed a helping hand to help him complete the great transformation from evil to good. The first step in this process is to teach Wukong skills, so as to have Bodhi.

There is no problem for Wukong to dominate the celestial world. His skill in making noise in the celestial world should be far from perfect. And he ate the old man's five pots of elixir in one breath! The same diamond forged by the old gentleman in the gossip furnace is not bad. Five lines of gossip is endless. If the old gentleman intends to kill Wukong, all he has to do is fiddle with it and move the position of Xungong, which will inevitably turn Wukong into coke. In fact, it seems that the old gentleman has fulfilled him!

The old gentleman actually doesn't like Wukong, as can be seen from his later words. Then who can force him to do something he doesn't like?

Who is not a fairy but can teach an apprentice like Wukong? Who can force the old gentleman to achieve Wukong? Who can be the owner of the golden cicada? ——

The answer is obvious, bodhi bodhi, I always thought it was the bodhi of Taoist immortals, but in fact it was most likely the Buddha himself!

The Monkey King and the Tang Priest are probably the two most important people in The Journey to the West. I said silently that fine words are no longer fine words but quiet words. I was alone in a lonely jar, talking about ghosts and gods, but I was actually talking about more than ghosts and gods. ...

The second guess

1. The Journey to the West is closely related to the Romance of Gods.

I think you will be familiar with The Journey to the West and The Romance of Gods in the Ming Dynasty. The myths derived from the two works, such as "the Monkey King makes a scene in Heaven" and "What makes a scene in the sea", are well known to everyone. Although these two novels tell stories of different dynasties, the characters in them are inextricably linked. You, such as Li Jing, Nezha, Bai Mu, Yang Jian and others, are reflected in both books. Manjusri Guangfa Tianzun, Pu Xian Zhenren, Chihangxia and Diandengxia in the Romance of the Gods have been rehabilitated and entered Buddhism after several years. Later, it became Manjusri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Guanyin Bodhisattva and ancient Buddha. These characters also appear in The Journey to the West. It can be seen that the two works are closely related.

2. Brief introduction of The Journey to the West and the powerful figures in The Romance of Gods.

1. Journey to the West 2.

A. Tathagata

Tathagata is a respected Sakyamuni in the western paradise, and there is no Amitabha in the south. On the vulture summit of Tianzhu Lingshan in Hezhou, he reached the golden body of 60 feet. This man is magical and powerful. As soon as he appeared, he solved the catastrophe in the sky. Later, he used his skills many times to help Wukong break through many difficulties. It can be called the Big Mac in Journey to the West.

B. Bodhi founder

Bodhi is an overseas immortal. He lived in seclusion in the deep mountains, without revealing himself. Although the magic is boundless, it is unknown. It took only three years for this great fairy to let the Monkey King learn the art of immortality, seventy-two changes and somersault clouds. This laid a good foundation for Wukong to make trouble in heaven in the future and eventually become a Buddha. It can be seen that Bodhi is by no means an idle generation.

2. Five leaders of the Romance of Gods.

A. Laozi

That is, too old gentleman. He is a big disciple of Hong Jun's bodhi old zu and is in charge of education. He went down the mountain three times to help explain the power of teaching and quit teaching immortals. Also once a gasification three clean-ups, defeated Tian Tong hierarch. In The Journey to the West, he lived in the heaven he hated. He was the mixed ancestor of the Taiqing Holy Land and one of the leaders of Sanqing Sect-Taishang Daozu, also known as Taishang Laojun.

B. yuanshi county Tianzun

Yuan Shi Tian Zun is the second disciple of Hong Jun, who is in charge of teaching. He has many disciples, many of whom are famous. Manjusri, Pu Xian and Guanyin in Buddhism, and Sun Buddha in seven buddha in the Past are all his disciples. Emperor Wen of Sui, Nezha, Li Jing and others are all his disciples. Later, he became the director of Sanqing School-the congenital ancestor of Jade Qing Holy Land in Journey to the West.

C. Patriarch Tian Tong

Leader Tian Tong is the third disciple of Hong Jun's bodhi old zu, who is responsible for interception. He has the most disciples, but most of them just fill in the blanks. But he also made a lot of contributions to heaven. Like the Jade Emperor's Twenty-four Stars, Lei Gong Dian Mu and Putian Astrology, almost all of them are his masters. After listening to the slanderous remarks of his disciples, the leader of Tian Tong put down two arrays of "all immortals" and "all immortals" to block Jiang Ziya's way. Later, with the joint efforts of four religious leaders, this array was broken. He is another leader of Sanqing School-Lingbao Tianzun, the ancestor of Tian Tong, the holy land of Shangqing.

D. take the lead

Taoist is the leader of western religions and lives in the western paradise. This man is six feet tall and has a yellow face. I haven't left a quiet place for many years. Later, at the invitation of others, the three relics won the immortal gate and broke the evil array with Laozi and Yuanshi.

E. quasi-Taoism

Zhunti Taoist is the second leader of western religions. I have been to Dongtu many times. He is more open-minded than Jieyin and has helped to explain and solve the crisis many times. It can be said that the two roads are connected. The blessing pestle and the wonderful seven-treasure tree in your hand are really amazing. The leader of Tian Tong was defeated by Zhunti twice.

There are clues in Journey to the West.

The Monkey King's master Bodhi, who traveled to the West, was a fairy. Because the Monkey King studied Taoism in Sanxingdong for seven years and martial arts for three years, he opened the Soul Night Hall, so many people are very interested in his master Bodhi. So who is this person? There is no clue left in Journey to the West? The answer is no.

Let's take a look at the residence of Bodhi's father first. Bodhi, the founder of Bodhi, lives in seclusion in Hezhou Niu, "Lingtai Square-inch Mountain, carrying the moon and Samsung Cave". The word "Lingtai Square Inch Mountain" begins with the word "Lingshan", and "Sunset Samsung" is a thing in the sky, which means "the sky". Put it together: Lingshan in the sky. We know that the Tathagata lives in the Yin Temple of Tianzhu Lingshan in Niuhezhou. Is it really a coincidence that the names of these two mountains are so similar? Is there any connection between Bodhi founder and Tathagata?

When the Monkey King first met Bodhi, Wu Cheng'en described it this way: "I saw Bodhi sitting on the stage with thirty fairies standing on both sides. Sure enough: I feel that Jin Xian is not dirty, and the West is the wonderful ancestor of Bodhi; I can't live three or three lines, full of enthusiasm and good intentions. " I saw the journey to the west for the first time. It can be seen that the founder of Bodhi is also a respected person in the West. Bodhi is a symbol of western Buddhism. Does this mean that the founder of Bodhi is Buddha rather than Tao? If he is a Buddha, why does he know all about Taoist culture? If he is Tao, why is there such a saying as "Bodhi, the father of the West"?

4. "Romance of the Gods" to find the answer

In the Journey to the West, we can't solve the mystery of Bodhi's identity. But we know that the characters in The Journey to the West are closely related to those in The Romance of Gods. I said it before. The bodhi ancestor in Journey to the West gives people the feeling that Buddhism and Taoism are one. In the Romance of the Gods, there happens to be a Taoism that looks like a Buddha but is not a Buddha-Western religion. Western religions have two leaders, and they are powerful. He helped the Taishang Laojun and the Yuanshi Tianzun to decipher the "Zhu Xian Array" and "Wan Xian Array" laid by Tian Tong. It can be called the two top masters of the Romance of the Gods. One of them is called guidance, and the other is called quasi-guidance.

1. Receiving Taoist VS Tathagata Buddha

Taoist priests live in the western paradise, six feet tall and yellow-faced. It reminds people of the Tathagata Buddha who was cultivated into a golden body in The Journey to the West. They look so alike that they are in charge of the western paradise. Are they alone? Then let's take a look at the two authors' descriptions of the two roles.

The following passage is taken from Chapter 78 of Love of the Gods:

Listen to the Taoist priest and come to the East with him. I saw my foot on Xiangyun, and suddenly I came to Lu Peng. Guang Chengzi came to Lao Zi and Yuan Shi and said, "These two western teachers are very respectful." Lao Zi and Yuan Shi led the crowd to meet the enemy under the tent. I saw a man standing six feet tall. But look:

Daxian barefoot jujube pear fragrance, stepping on Xiangyun is more abnormal;

Twelve lotus stands play a magic weapon, and the edge of Bade pool is white.

Life is positive with heaven and earth, and happiness is crazy with Hongbo.

This is the name of a relic cultivated in the west.

Lao Tzu and Yuan Shi took the invitation, put it on their bodies, kowtowed and sat down.

B. Look at The Journey to the West's description of the seventh middle road:

I saw the barefoot fairy coming again. After bowing to the jade emperor, he thanked the Buddha and said, "I am deeply impressed by my magical power and surrender to the demon monkey." There is nothing to respect, especially two pears and a few dates. " The poem says:

Daxian's barefoot dates and pears are fragrant, and his dedication to Tommy is long-lasting.

The seven treasures of Lianhua Mountain are as stable as others, and the golden flowers are as beautiful as brocade.

Life with heaven and earth is not absurd, and Fu is crazier than Hongbo.

Happy life as scheduled, leisurely and comfortable in the west.

Tathagata is also called Xie. Tell Arnold and Ye Jia to put away all the offerings and give the Jade Emperor a thank-you banquet.

C in the romance of the gods, there is another passage:

On the top of the Taoist priest, three Buddhist relics appeared and shot swords. That sword is absolutely reliable. How can you come down? The western hierarch entered the immortal gate until he stopped at it.

Many factors show that Taoist priests became Buddha after several years. Western religion is the predecessor of Buddhism.

2. quasi-Taoist VS bodhi founder

Let's see how these two works evaluate the other two:

A. For the first appearance of Taoist Zhunti, see Chapter 61 of Romance of the Gods:

After hearing this, Manjusri Guangfa Tianzun shouted, "Brother Dao, keep people with swords!" Guangfa Tianzun recalled that he couldn't recognize who this person was; The Taoist priest wore a double bun robe and said, "Thank you!" Guangfa Tianzun replied, "Where do Taoist friends come from? What do you want to see? " The Taoist said, "Brother Dao doesn't know me, so I'll tell you everything, and then I'll know:

I feel that Jin Xian is second to none. Bodhi, the wonderful ancestor of the west;

If you don't die or live three or three lines, you will be full of goodwill.

Emptiness changes with it, just like nature;

The same fate as heaven, solemnity, exorcist, and bright heart have been robbed.

The Taoist priest said: "Poverty is the only way for Taoist priests under Western teaching."

B. Bodhi appeared for the first time and saw Journey to the West for the first time:

I feel that Jin Xian is not polluted, and the West is the wonderful ancestor of Bodhi;

If you don't die or live three or three lines, you will be full of goodwill.

The quasi-Taoist in the Romance of Gods is an enlightened person. He came to the East many times to change his destiny. Have a good understanding of oriental Taoism. He is the second leader of western religions. I know Buddhist culture like the back of my hand The founder of Bodhi in The Journey to the West is like a Buddha and a Taoist. Known as Bodhi, he is a Taoist. It can be seen that he has a deep relationship with western Taoism. One teaches in the western paradise, and the other lives in seclusion in Hezhou, Xiniu. There are indications that the founder of Bodhi is a Taoist Zhunti. Only later, western religions were merged into Buddhism, and Taoist priests were renamed Tathagata disciples to be in charge of Buddhism, while Taoist priests were renamed Bodhi ancestors, living in seclusion in the mountains and cultivating self-cultivation.

Verb (short for verb) The answer is revealed.

According to the comments of the above two articles and four poems, we can draw a conclusion. That is, the founder of Bodhi is Zhunti, a Taoist priest, and the younger brother of Tathagata. These two men used to be in charge of western religions together. Later, the Tathagata became a six-foot golden body, established Buddhism and annexed western religions. Since then, Bodhi has lived in seclusion in the mountains and named this mountain "Lingtai Fangcun Mountain", which is opposite to "Tianzhu Lingshan". Since then, no one knows his residence except the residents in the mountains. Even the Tathagata doesn't know where his brother is. I didn't even know there were immortals in Hezhou, Xiniu. The Tathagata once commented on Xiniuhezhou: "I, Xiniuhezhou, don't be greedy and don't kill, raise my spirit. Although there is no truth, everyone will live a long life "(see the eighth journey to the west). It can be seen that Tathagata, who is in the same place as Xi Niu, does not know the existence of Bodhi Zu Bodhi. Therefore, the way of Bodhi is no less than that of Tathagata. You can even avoid the Buddha's eyes.

Guess three

Bodhi is one of the top ten disciples of the Tathagata. He practiced Taoism before entering the Buddha, then worshipped the Tathagata as a teacher and asked the Buddha in the Diamond Sutra.
