1in the summer of 939, when begging in Wuwangshan, Jiyuan, I came across the anti-Japanese guerrillas and joined the Seventh Company of the Eighth Route Army, which was incorporated into the First Division of Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei. After Yi Xue joined the army, his father led his family to escape from the desert, and his brother was crushed to death in Datong Coal Mine. His aunt and cousin died under the Japanese bayonet one after another, and his sister was sold to Xiang Yang Village in this county and Xuzhou in Jiangsu. Soon, my father died of poverty and illness. 194 1 autumn, the Japanese North China Command concentrated its forces and carried out an unprecedented "mopping up" of the anti-Japanese base areas in Chaji. On September 25th, more than 3,500 enemies stationed in Jiean, Longmenzhuang, Beiloushan and Yingtou around Langya Mountain, under the cover of planes and artillery, attacked Langya Mountain in nine ways. On the same day, the Eighth Route Army stationed in Langya Mountain, after repelling the enemy's 10 attack several times in a row, decided to leave Song Xueyi's seven companies, six rows and six classes to cover the main force and mass transfer. He and monitor Ma Baoyu, vice monitor Ge Zhenlin, soldiers Hu Fucai, Hu Delin stick to Dongshan Pass. Relying on the dangerous terrain, they fought decisively with the enemy. That night, Song Xueyi and four comrades-in-arms entered the position, tied grenades into bundles, buried them in various places on the mountainside with bullets instead of thunder, and then concealed them in five ways, killing more than 3,000 enemies tightly. The enemy became angry from embarrassment and bombarded Langya Mountain with artillery. Five soldiers, including Song Xueyi, went into hiding under the enemy's gunfire. As soon as the gunfire passed, they attacked the enemy with bullets and grenades. In this way, while fighting, we retreated to the top of the mountain and pinned the Japanese army on Langya Mountain. When Song Xueyi and his comrades retreated to the top of the three cliffs of Langya Mountain, the enemy charged up again and again. The five strong men used bullets and grenades first, and then stones to repel the enemy's attack 10 times, successfully completing the glorious task of containing the enemy. Ma Baoyu, a member of * * *, introduced Song Xueyi and others to join the line of fire in China. Finally, in the case of running out of ammunition and food, five soldiers, including Song Xueyi, threw the last grenade, smashed guns and jumped off the cliff. Monitor Ma Baoyu, Hu Fucai and Hu Delin died heroically, Song Xueyi and Ge Zhenlin were caught in the trees on the hillside, and Song Xueyi was seriously injured in the waist. The next day, he was taken back to the army and sent to the field army hospital for treatment. The Jinchaji Military Region held a celebration. On behalf of Nie Rongzhen, commander of the military region, Yang Chengwu hung the five-star medal of "Resolutely Tenacity" issued by the military region on the chests of Ge Zhenlin and Song Xueyi respectively. From 65438 to 0944, Song Xueyi moved to Beiguantou Village, Yixian County, Hebei Province, where he became the chairman of the farmers' association and married Li Guirong, the daughter of a poor farmer. 1947, Song Xueyi learned that his hometown was liberated and returned to Beikong Village in Qinyang with his lover. After returning to his hometown for more than 20 years, he has never been proud of himself, always maintained his true colors as a hero, led the masses to work hard, and made great changes in Beikong Village. For many years, he served as a member of the Party Committee of the county and commune and secretary of the Party branch of Beikong Village. Attended the National Congress of Martyrs' Families and Disabled Soldiers' Activists and the National Congress of Militia Heroes, 1969 went to Beijing to attend the Ninth Congress of China. Comrade Song Xueyi died in the long revolutionary struggle. The body was buried in Qinyang Martyrs Cemetery.
