A. relationship.
This part is to fill in your relationship with your relatives who are about to apply for a green card (hereinafter referred to as "relatives"). For example, if you are an American citizen and want to apply for a green card for your wife in China, then you are the applicant and your wife is the "relative", that is, the beneficiary.
1. I submit this petition for my following people:
Husband/wife (please check this if you are applying for a green card for your spouse)
Parents (please check this if you apply for a green card for your parents)
Brothers and sisters (please check this if you are applying for a green card for your brothers and sisters)
Children (please check this if you are applying for a green card for your children)
2. Are you adopted?
Yes (if you are not related to your relatives by blood, but by adoption, choose this)
No (if you are related to your relatives, choose this one. Most applicants apply to this item)
3. Did you obtain permanent residency through adoption?
Yes (if you got your green card through adoption, choose this one)
No (if you didn't get your green card through adoption, choose this one. Most applicants apply to this item)
B.information about you
This section is to fill in information about yourself (American citizen or green card).
1-5 is to fill in your name, mailing address, place of birth, date of birth, gender, and fill it in truthfully.
The sixth item is about your marital status. Among them, married is married, single is unmarried, widowed is widowed and divorced.
The seventh question is whether you have used your previous name. If not, please leave it blank.
Item 8, "Date and place of your current marriage", asks about the time and place of your current marriage (if you are currently "married"). If you are unmarried or divorced, you don't need to fill in this.
Item 9: Fill in your social security number, social security number.
Fill in your foreigner registration number (A number for short) in 10. When you apply for a green card for the first time and submit I-485, the Immigration Bureau will give you an A number. 1 1 and 12 are to fill in your ex-husband's name and divorce time. If you have never been divorced before, please leave it blank.

Naturalization. Give the ID number and the date and place of issuance (please fill in this item if you obtained American citizenship through immigration application. At the same time, you need to fill in the number, date and place of the citizen card)
Parents. Did you get a citizenship card in your own name? Q: Did you apply for American citizenship in your own name? If yes, select Yes, and fill in the serial number, date and place of my citizen card; If not, just fill it in. Why is there such an option? For children under the age of 18, if they are still under the age of 18 five years after obtaining the green card, they cannot apply for American citizenship in their own name, but only through their parents. In this case, the child will not get the American citizenship card in his own name, but in the name of his parents.
14. If you are an American green card holder, please fill in this item. If you apply for an immigrant visa from outside the United States and get a green card in the United States, fill in the date and place of admission. Note: the word admission is specially used to get a green card by applying for an immigrant visa to enter the United States. The method of submitting I-485 in the United States is called identity adjustment, not admission. If you get a green card in the United States by submitting I-485, fill in your I-485 approval date and the name of the USCIS service center that approved your I-485 (for example, if it is TSC, fill in TEXASSERVICE CENTER, if it is NSC, fill in Nebraska service center).
The admission category is to fill in the category where you get a green card. If you immigrated to the United States through an immigrant visa outside the United States, fill in the type of your immigrant visa (for example, if you came to the United States as the spouse of an American citizen, fill in IR- 1, where IR- 1 is the type of immigrant visa you applied for at the American Consulate in Guangzhou); If you get a green card in the United States by submitting I-485, you should fill in the priority category of your I- 140 or I- 130 application (for example, if you are EB 1, you should fill in 1ST priority based on employment).

It should be noted that if some items are not available, they will be left blank, so don't fill in none or N/A, which will easily lead to misunderstanding by immigration officials. For example, item 9, social security number, if not, is empty and should not be filled in.
13 is to ask whether your relatives have been to the United States? If yes, check Yes; If not, please checkNo..
14 is to ask you, if your relative is in the United States now, what is the way for him or her to come to the United States?
If it is J 1, just fill in the exchange visitor (J 1) after "he or she arrived as a:".
If it is H 1-B, then add temporary workers (H 1-B) after "he or she arrived as a:".
If it is F 1, fill in the student (F 1) after "he or she arrived as a:".

Item 17 (from the top of the second page of I- 130 table, from item 17 to item 22, it still belongs to "C. Information about your alien relatives").
In this item, you need to list the names of your relatives' spouses and children, the specific relationship with your relatives, the date of birth and the country of birth. Just fill it out truthfully.
18, you need to fill in the place where your relatives plan to live after immigrating to the United States. If your "relative" is your spouse or child, it is generally more credible to fill in your own residence address.
Project 19. Fill in the current address of your relative in China in English (if your relative is not in China, please fill in his actual address) (street number, street, city, provincial capital and country are required).
Item 20. Fill in the current address of your relative in China in Chinese (if your relative is not in China, fill in his actual address) (street number, street, city, provincial capital and country are required).
Item 2 1. If you are applying for a green card for your spouse, you need to fill in this item. Fill in the address and start and end time of your last cohabitation.
Item 22. If your relative is in the United States now, the Immigration Bureau thinks that he or she will adjust his or her status in the United States and get a green card. In this case, you need to fill in the location of the USICS office where your relatives submitted I-485 (the city and state in the lower left part of item 22 on the second page of the I- 130 form). For most family immigration applications, it is accepted by USCIS Chicago Lockbox, so the city will fill in: Chicago and the state will fill in: Illinois.
The city and country in the lower right part of Item 22 refers to the city and country in the lower right part of Item 22 if your relatives are not eligible to adjust their status in the United States (that is, they cannot submit I-485), or if your relatives will apply for an immigrant visa at an overseas American consulate and then come to the United States. For Chinese mainland applicants, family immigration is usually accepted by the US Consulate in Guangzhou, so the city is filled in: Guangzhou, and the country is filled in: People's Republic of China (PRC).

1, if you have submitted I- 130 separately for other relatives, please list the names of other relatives and their relationship with you here.
