The Taoist Down the Mountain is a fantasy adventure drama produced by Xinli Media Co., Ltd., directed by Chen Kaige and co-starred by Wang, Wang, Wang, Wang, Wang and Lin Chi-ling. The film mainly tells the story of an inexperienced Taoist priest who left the Taoist temple and went down the mountain because of food shortage. After a series of events, he realized that "a hero is by hook or by crook, and a true hero is by not changing his original intention".
