Professor Gao's lecture content:
In the form of free grouping, the students reported five single, double, triple and 13 group dances, totaling 18 dance works. Students reported on the creation background, conception, form, structure, style and music of the work in the form of PPT text display and short video of dance creation. The creative scheme of 18 is analyzed and commented in detail, and the problems existing in the work are decomposed and analyzed.
In particular, it is suggested that the works should have profound thoughts, grasp the key words in the works, deal with and choose actions other than routine choreography, break the traditional thinking and speak Lingnan dance well in contemporary language. From the comparison of ancient and modern dance expressions in China to the balance between China and the West, Mr. Lu objectively described the dual rationality of the two dance expressions and recognized the situation and orientation of contemporary China dancers.
