How to analyze the moisture of carbonized rice husk
Carbonized rice husk is usually tested for carbon content.

Carbonized rice husk needs to determine volatile matter, ash, fixed carbon and sulfur S. The sulfur content is determined by infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer, and the volatile matter, ash and fixed carbon content are determined by combustion method. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Weigh two crucibles with an electronic analytical balance and record;

2. Gradually add carbonized rice husk powder to about 500mg; Put it in a crucible with a small spoon;

3. Open the muffle furnace and set the temperature to 750℃. When the temperature reaches 750℃, put the bracket with crucible (with cover) in, take it out and cool it for 5 minutes, and measure the weight of two crucibles (we call it primary weight);

4. Set the muffle furnace at 700℃, remove the crucible cover, put it in the furnace at 700℃, keep the temperature for 90 minutes and then take it out.

Weigh the two crucibles (called secondary weight);

5. Calculate and record the contents of ash, volatile matter and fixed carbon.
