Regardless of age
There are many unwritten rules in the dance world: for example, it is difficult to perform a dance drama after the age of 35, and it is considered "old" after the age of 40 ... but these rules are no longer realized in Chinese Peking Opera actor Dan Chong. Dan Chong, who is 43 years old, is still active on the stage and plays the leading role in many dance dramas. In the dance world of China, she is called "dance madman" by her peers; In the audience's mind, she is a well-deserved "Queen of China Dance Drama".
Compared with many dancers, it is not too early to get into formal contact with dance. It was not until 1 1 that she was recruited into Zhejiang Art School to receive formal dance training. /kloc-at the age of 0/4, Dan Chong made her debut as radish head in the duet "Radish Head". While waiting for the show, she was so nervous that the headgear clip was stuck in her scalp that it didn't hurt at all. "But strangely, my heart suddenly settled down as soon as the music started. Although I didn't know much about the performance at that time, it was really indescribable on the stage. Then I thought, maybe I should do this in my life. " Dan Chong said.
As a professional dancer, the physical and psychological pain and pressure are often unimaginable and incomprehensible to the outside world. In retrospect, there were two important experiences that Dan Chong will never forget.
On one occasion, due to sudden rheumatoid arthritis and arthritis caused by overwork before graduating from secondary school, her whole body joints could not move and she was taken to the hospital by her classmates. At that time, her despair was not because of anything else, but because she was worried that she would say goodbye to her beloved dance. A month later, as long as she could exercise, she gritted her teeth and insisted on going to the training room, and finally graduated with the first place.
The other time was rehearsing Ganjiang and Mo Xie in Suzhou Song and Dance Troupe. The day before the performance, I sprained my cervical vertebra, so I couldn't move my whole upper body and couldn't sleep at night. On the afternoon of the performance, the crew called a doctor and stuck more than 20 needles in her back, forcing her to move physically. In the evening, she endured the pain and walked onto the stage. The performance was very successful and won warm applause from the audience.
Everyone who has a firm belief will do everything for it without hesitation. For Shan Chong, dance is such a belief. She often said that although her dancing career brought her unimaginable pain and pressure, she was always cheerful. "I think I just did what I should do, and I like it very much, so I won't regret all my efforts."
During her 32-year dance career, Dan Chong has won many awards that all professional dancers yearn for-the 15th Plum Blossom Award for Chinese Drama, the 1st CCTV TV Dance Competition Performance Gold Award and the Most Popular Actor Award, the 1st Lotus Cup National Dance Competition Performance Gold Award, the 2nd Lotus Cup Dance Drama Dance Poetry Competition Best Actress Performance Award and the 1st International Delphi Art Competition Special Art Achievement Award.
Today, the "Queen of China Dance Drama" still insists on basic training for about two hours every day. The reason why I am so diligent is because I have deep awe of the art of dance. Dan Chong said, "I have danced for so many years and acted in so many dance dramas. Until now, every time I wait for a program, I still feel inexplicably nervous, but as soon as I get on stage, my heart will calm down immediately. I think this tension is associated with excitement. It is a wish that my art can be recognized and loved by the audience. " "In a few years, when I am older, I will definitely leave the stage, but I don't think I will leave dancing in my life. I hope to tell my existing experience to younger actors and let them extend their artistic life on the stage as much as possible. "
