Professor Liu Yun is the director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Communication and Information System of Beijing Jiaotong University, the director of Internet Public Opinion Security Research Center of Beijing Jiaotong University, the director of Communication Department of School of Electronic Information Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University, the member of academic committee, the member of professional title committee, the vice chairman of staff congress of Beijing Jiaotong University, the president of Beijing Jiaotong University Women Professors Association and the executive director of Beijing Women Professors Association. In addition, Professor Liu Yun is an expert in the evaluation of the National Science and Technology Award, the National Natural Science Foundation and the National High-tech Research and Development Plan (HTRDP), an IET member, a senior member of the Computer Network Association, a senior member of the System Simulation Society, a senior member of the Railway Society, a senior consultant of Tietong Company and a senior consultant of the Beijing Internet Information Office. Professor Liu Yun is the deputy editor-in-chief of International Journal of Service Computing (IJSC), International Journal of Interdisciplinary Telecommunications and Network (IJISN), Journal of System Simulation, Journal of Beijing Jiaotong University and Journal of Urban Rail Transit. Professor Liu Yun has presided over national, provincial and ministerial-level projects, including 863, National Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Railways and other major projects. At present, Professor Liu Yun's research interests include communication, network security and intelligent transportation. Professor Liu Yun has edited many monographs and book chapters and published more than 200 academic papers, of which more than 50 papers have been checked by the three major search engines. In addition, Professor Liu Yun has participated in many international academic activities and served as a part-time professor in several overseas universities. He has won many research achievements and awards, such as National Major Scientific and Technological Achievement Award, Zhan Tianyou Railway Science and Technology Award, Beijing Jiaotong University Red Orchard Award, Beijing Jiaotong University Excellent Textbook Award, Beijing Jiaotong University Teaching Master, March 8th Red Flag Medal and so on.
