The Red Fourth Regiment is an army with glorious tradition and outstanding military achievements. This day has also become the anniversary of the 25,000-mile Long March of the Central Red Army. During the Long March, the Red Fourth Regiment served as the vanguard of the whole army for many times. In the campaign of Xiangjiang River, we first broke through Xiangjiang River, occupied Jueshanpu, an important ferry, and tried our best to stop He Jian, a swarming Kuomintang army, which made an important contribution to the Central Red Army's final breakthrough in the blockade of Xiangjiang River.
