1983 and 1988 graduated from the department of electrical engineering of Chongqing university, majoring in power system and automation, respectively, and obtained their bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering under the guidance of Professor Mi Linshu;

1998 graduated from the School of Electrical Engineering of Southwest Jiaotong University, majoring in railway traction electrification and automation, and studied under Professor Qingqun Qian, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, with a doctorate in engineering;

2006 54 38+0-2003, at the invitation of IEEE Fellow and Professor james thorpe, academician of the American Academy of Engineering, he went to the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Cornell University as a visiting scholar.

In September 2004, he visited Virginia Tech again at the invitation of Professor Thorpe.

At the invitation of Professor Lu Qiang, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, Kloc-0/2, 2004 went to the State Key Laboratory of Power System Control and Simulation and Power Generation Equipment in Tsinghua University for cooperative research.

2006. 1 1 At the invitation of Professor IEEE Fellow ·t·s· Sidu, he went to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Western Ontario to study UHV protection.
