Wei Zhou, researcher, training director of China Teacher Training Network.

He has been engaged in basic education research in poverty-stricken areas of western ethnic minorities for a long time and is a well-known expert in girls' education in China. He used to be the deputy director of the teaching and research section of Ningxia Education Department, the director of the Institute of Education, and a member of the national leading group for educational science planning. At present, he is mainly engaged in teacher education research and school development research in primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and special schools. He has undertaken the seventh five-year national key project "Nine-year compulsory education in eight western provinces (regions)" (writing a general report), the eighth five-year national key project "Current situation, problems and countermeasures of rural girls' education" and the tenth five-year national key project "Early health care and development of infants aged 0-3" (writing a general report).
