I have read the books of three teachers many times, so who is better, Liao Caixing, Wang Peizan or Wu Minlan?
Traditional English learning methods are memorizing words, learning phonetic symbols and grammar. Even if I got a high score, I still didn't dare to speak, I didn't have confidence, I wasn't sure if I was right, and I didn't know much about reading the original English.
Wang Peizan's enlightenment thought is worth reading, but Miao's mother tells the truth that her book list is the most unsuitable for China's national conditions.
The simplest book list for 0-2 years old is "I can read" Danny dinosaur series. How difficult is this set of books? Large chunks of English, many of which are 64 pages. I dare say that in China, only children over five or six years old can see it.
How can a baby aged 0-2 understand such a 64-page long story? Not to mention China children, American children have to be over 5 or 6 years old to learn!
Miao Ma's formula is Wang Peizhen's book list +4 years old, which is suitable for children with good domestic level. Book list for 0-2 years old, suitable for 4-6 years old. Your baby is +3 years old if it is good, and +5 years old if it is late in enlightenment.
Wu Minlan's book mainly recommends 123, a very good English picture book (partly repeated with Liao Caixing's list). There are few methods, only 3-5 pages.
Miao's mother suggested reading Liao Caixing first, laying a solid foundation for learning methods, and then reading the list recommended by Wu Minlan.
If English enlightenment only wants to read one book, Liao Caixing is highly recommended. The book is easy to read, very suitable for fragmented reading, and it is very slow to read after having a baby. This book can be read once in 2-3 hours (all vernacular+life cases), which is very good to read. After reading it, it was really refreshing and inspiring.
Teacher Liao Caixing adheres to the principle of "no need to recognize words, learn phonetic symbols, learn grammar, translate Chinese and take exams", and through regular and quantitative English input, the method is simple and easy to operate for busy parents who have just started learning English.
Liao Caixing's method is relaxed, happy and effective, and 100, a classic picture book especially suitable for the enlightenment stage, accounts for almost half of the space. I have bought all these 100 books, and I have listened to them with meow for at least dozens of times. Meow has been reading this set of books since she was about 2 years old. Meow, almost 3 years old, I have been able to read most books since I output sentences.
It was Liao Caixing's list of books that triggered meow's interest in English, which was out of control. Every time she is busy, as long as she turns on her reading pen and opens Liao Caixing's audio book, she can sit down and read by herself.
In all fairness, I think Liao Caixing is the best in both methods and books. Miao's mother suggested reading Liao Caixing's 100 book first (because it is the most classic and easy to arouse interest), then Wu Minlan's picture book (supplement and accumulation), Oxford Tree+Langdon (climbing), and finally Wang Peizhen (because Wang Peizhen is the most difficult, Wang Peizhen's book list is 0-2 years old).
Because most picture books can sing, Liao Caixing's book list can really be said to be mixed age!
0-3-year-old baby: you can lie down and listen quietly, or you can play it repeatedly while eating. You can listen for hours a day.
Children aged 3-6: You can read a local book and learn to sing children's songs. Paying attention to interest is the most important thing. Don't push it. Just dance happily.
6- 10-year-old children: If the enlightenment is done late and the level is relatively basic, Liao Caixing is also recommended! You can listen, sing and learn on the way to and from school, after dinner and on weekends. At this stage, although the enlightenment is late, your self-discipline and learning ability are stronger.
If you have extra time and energy, I suggest reading in this order:
1, Liao Caixing, The Power of Listening to English Easily with Audio Books: Reading Plan for 52 Weeks a Year 100 English Picture Books.
2. Wu Minlan picture book 123, using the five senses to play out the baby's English kindness.
3. [America] Jim Treize's reading manual (American parents and children read the Bible)
4. Wang Peizan's "Cultivating Children's English Ears"
