"See deer in the deep forest, whale in the blue sea, wake up" means that if you want to see deer, you must go into the deep forest, and if you want to see whales, you must be in the ocean, that is to say, you have made many unrealistic choices.

"Seeing deer in the forest" comes from Li Bai's Dai Tian Visiting Taoist. A visit to a Taoist priest in Dai Tianshan Mountain is the five laws written by Li Bai when he was studying in Dai Tianshan Mountain in his early years.

In the barking of dogs, peach blossoms are thick.

See the deer when the tree is deep, but don't ring the bell at noon.

Wild bamboos are green and misty, and flying springs hang blue peaks.

No one knows where to go. I'm worried about two or three loose.

Translation:

The faint barking of dogs is mixed with the murmur of running water, and peach blossoms are dew.

In the depths of the forest, you can often see elk.

When I came to the stream at noon, I couldn't hear the bell of the mountain temple.

Green wild bamboos cut through the blue sky, and white waterfalls hung high on the green peaks.

No one knows where the Taoist priest is, so I can't help worrying about several Gu Song plants.

Creative background:

According to historical records, Li Bai's father, Li Ke, was a "self-indulgent" and "arrogant, not seeking official positions" (Fan Zuoji's Tombstone of Academician Li). And this kind of character is just in line with the Taoist thought of "the husband does not argue, but can't argue with him" and "the Tao is natural"

Therefore, Li Ke probably studied Taoist classics and Taoist thoughts after returning to Shu with his family. In the Tang Dynasty, according to the different levels and tasks of Taoism, Taoist priests were often divided into seven categories: naive Taoist priests, immortal Taoist priests, recluse Taoist priests, mountain Taoist priests, monks, family Taoist priests and alcoholic Taoist priests (The Essential Use Collection of Daomen Jiao Tong).

Among them, "Mountain Taoist" refers to a yogi who gives up secularism and joins the deep mountains and forests. Daitian Mountain in Dakang Town is adjacent to Taihuashan Mountain and Daguanshan Mountain in the east and Qianyuan Mountain in the west. The highest peak is over 265,438+000 meters above sea level. Clouds cover the fog all the year round, full of fairy spirit. Nature is the first choice for mountain monks to practice seclusion.

Until today, along the mountain road in the northeast of Huamiaozi, after passing through the dense forest, there is still a Taoist temple named "Shenlong Mountain Taoist Temple", which is dedicated to Taoist gods such as "Sanqing". It can be inferred that Dai Tianshan Mountain must be a famous religious mountain with strong Taoist belief atmosphere in Jiangyou during the prosperous Tang Dynasty when Li Bai lived.

On the "climate", Taoism was the "state religion" in the Tang Dynasty, and its political status was equivalent to Marxism-Leninism. On "geographical location", Taoism originated in Sichuan, and Jiangyou is one of its important spreading places. On "harmony between people", Li Bai's father Li Ke was deeply influenced by Taoist thought.

It is not surprising that Li Bai, a great poet deeply baptized and edified by Bashu Taoist culture, went to Daitianshan to visit this Taoist friend in the mountains. The communication with Taoism has played a positive role in the formation and development of Li Bai's ideological character. It not only cultivated his character of loving nature and pursuing freedom, but also formed his elegant style of seeking immortality and learning Taoism and seclusion.

It can be said that Taoism has a great influence on his life. The Tang Dynasty was different from today. Mobile phones and telephones were not invented. Going out to visit friends usually depends on luck or dating. Li Bai was unlucky this time. He made great efforts to climb the high Daitian Mountain, but he didn't see the Taoist priest on the mountain.

He may have gone down the mountain to do something, or he may have gone out to visit his friends. In short, he is not in the Taoist temple, so let Li Bai close his eyes. Disappointed, Li Bai wrote this song "Interview with Taoist Dai Tian".
