Mu (1949-September 2008 14), a famous basketball player and former center of China's national basketball team, is 2.28 meters tall. 1972 joined the jinan military area command basketball team and was selected as the eighth national basketball team. He has participated in international competitions on behalf of China national team for many times, and is known as "the first center in Asia". 1988 retired, officially discharged from Bayi Engineering Brigade in May 2000, and later recovered from illness in Beijing, enjoying the treatment of deputy division heads. He died of a heart attack in Beijing in 2008.
