grow up
Wu Ruonan was one of the earliest Japanese female students studying in China. According to Wu Ruonan's memory, she was only 14 years old when she went to Japan. Originally, I planned to enter a practical girls' school run by Tian Ge this summer. However, at this time, because the number of foreign students enrolled in the Qing Dynasty was only 30, and the age of admission was limited to 16 to 40, and the age was unqualified, so I changed to Qingshan Girls' School. According to this calculation, Wu Ruonan should study in Japan in 190 1 year. He Xiangning went to study in Japan 1902, Qiu Jin went to study in Japan 1904, and Wu Ruonan went to study in Japan before and after. This is related to his father Wu Baochu's progressive and open thinking, wandering between the Reform Party and the Revolutionary Party.
After arriving in Japan, Wu Ruonan was deeply impressed by China women's oppression and pursuit of women's rights. Her determination to take part in the revolution won the trust of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who served as his English secretary when presiding over People's Daily. Wu Ruonan had a considerable influence before and after the founding of the League. In particular, I have more contact with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and through his education, my understanding of the revolution has been greatly improved. His position and role in the China League are not ordinary people.
domestic
I met Zhang in the spring of 1905. 1In the summer and autumn of 905, after the establishment of the China Alliance in Tokyo, Zhang refused to join. Zhang Taiyan learned that Zhang admired Ms. Zhang very much, so he accepted her suggestion and consulted with her, asking her to persuade Zhang to join the League. Unexpectedly, Tu Zhao always insisted on his own opinion, refused to join, and asked Wu Ruonan to switch to Dr. Sun Yat-sen, "Love and politics can't have both". But after many contacts with Zhang, they became lovers, and at the suggestion of Zhang Taiyan and Sun Shaohou, they got engaged soon. 1909, they got married in England.
Following Zhang to Britain, Germany and other countries, he wrote poems to express his feelings and published them in Tokyo People's Daily. "When it comes to East Asian tourists, I am the first person in China." At that time, Wu Ruonan was also the first oriental woman to go to Europe, except for a few harem ladies who accompanied princes and ministers.
succour
Another important event, the valuable contribution of the China Revolution in Wu Ruonan, was the rescue and help to the revolutionary martyr Li Dazhao.
Wu Ruonan and Li Dazhao met in 19 15. During his study in Japan, Li Dazhao often donated money to Jiayin magazine founded by Zhang. He sees Zhang once a month and sometimes eats at home. 1925, Wu Ruonan asked Li Dazhao to teach sociology to his three sons, and went home for classes twice a month. Due to the close relationship between the two families, Li Dazhao asked his daughter Li Xinghua to recognize Wu Ruonan as her godmother. 1On April 6, 927, Li Dazhao was arrested by warlord Zhang. According to Wu Ruonan's recollection, "Li Dazhao had lived in the Soviet Embassy for more than three months before his arrest. I managed to get my son a passport, went to the embassy to visit him, advised him to go abroad to the Soviet Union as soon as possible, and suggested that he leave Dongjiaomin Lane in disguise and go to my house for the time being. If you are strict, you will know that the wind is tight, and you will be urged to act quickly. And normal is very calm. Keep the habit of waiting for the final sacrifice. April 28th, 1927. " Later, Wu Ruonan not only went to Li Dazhao's house to visit his wife Zhao Renlan, but also raised funds to bury Li Dazhao and solve his family's living expenses.
Separated from Zhang Yu 1929. Wu Ruonan settled in Europe with his three sons and didn't return home until the outbreak of the European War. He Zhang has three sons:,,.
196 1 year1October 10 is the 50th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution. On the same day, Wu Ruonan, as an old man of the Revolution of 1911, was invited to attend the celebration in Beijing from Shanghai. At the banquet held in the Great Hall of the People, the Prime Minister called him "Mr. Wu" to show his respect. On October 9th, 65438/KLOC-0, Vice Chairman Dong and Premier also took photos with the old people who participated in the Revolution of 1911. Wu Ruonan and Wang Ying were the only women invited to participate in the Revolution of 1911. Every time she goes to Beijing, she stays at Beijing Hotel, and Zhang will visit her. Sometimes I go to Zhang's apartment.
Old age life
1972, when Wu Ruonan was 86 years old, he published an open letter in the name of a former member of the League, "Commemorating the birthday of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, sending a message to an old friend in Taiwan Province". At the end of the article, Wu Ruonan wrote: "I sincerely hope that old friends of the Kuomintang in Taiwan Province Province and compatriots in Taiwan Province Province will carry forward Dr. Sun Yat-sen's anti-imperialist patriotic spirit, learn from Ms. He Xiangning's example, and make contributions to the early liberation of Taiwan Province Province and the reunification of the motherland.
Wu Ruonan died at the age of 87 on April 65438, 0973.
