Later, Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty moved the capital from Nanjing to Beijing. He wanted to build Beijing into a magnificent city, so he ordered his strategist Liu Bowen to organize the restoration of the city.

Gao Liang chased him to a small village and got lost at a fork in the road. He saw an old man with a white beard sitting on a big bluestone under an old locust tree, so he arched his hands and asked, "Excuse me, old man, have you seen an old man and an old lady pushing a water wheel?" The old man with white beard said, "I saw it! When the waterwheel arrived at this intersection, the old lady's foot-binding cloth was scattered, and she was still sitting on the big bluestone wrapped her feet! They pushed the waterwheel to the north. " Hearing the highlighted words, as soon as he whipped the whip, the horse immediately threw away its joy and ran in the direction of Yuquan Mountain.

Outstanding, catch up with a big village at the foot of Yuquan Mountain. There is a waterwheel stuck in the mud at the entrance to the village. The dragon king and his grandmother stood in the mud and pushed the waterwheel hard. Gao immediately rushed forward, raised his golden gun and stabbed it. The left fish scale water basket stabbed a big hole, and the clear water rushed out.
Highlight the horse's head and drag the golden gun along the original road to Xizhimen. He kept waving the whip until his horse ran too slowly. He heard running water behind him. The closer he is to the city, the louder his voice becomes, as if the flood were about to engulf him. However, he remembered Liu Bowen's words and didn't say anything back, just reined in and ran to the city.
Gao Liang rode to a stone bridge at the gate and saw Liu Bowen waving to him in Xizhimen! He thought he had finished it now and could rest assured, so he looked back. At this time, a big wave came and swept Gao Liang and his horse into the whirlpool. I don't know where they went.
Although the highlight is dead, water still emerges from the dry well in Beijing. Liu Bowen also seized the opportunity to mobilize skilled craftsmen to repair the city. However, the well water in Beijing is mostly bitter! Because Gao Liang didn't have time to pierce the fish scale water basket on the right side of the waterwheel, the water inside was pushed to Yuquan Mountain by the Dragon King and the Dragon Mother and fell into Yuquan. Since then, the water in Yuquan has become sweet!
To commemorate Gao Liang, Beijingers call this stone bridge outside Xizhimen Gao Liang Bridge. The village where the Dragon King waterwheel rolls out of the driveway ditch when Gaoliang drives the water is called the driveway ditch; The village where the dragon mother sits on the big bluestone and binds her feet is called foot binding bay; At the foot of Yuquan Mountain, the three villages where Longwang Waterwheel was trapped were called Nanwu, Zhongwu and Beiwu. When Gao Liang rode back to the city, he dragged the golden gun and drew a deep ditch on the ground. The ditch was filled with Yuquan water. This ditch is the Golden River, also called the Gaoliang River.
