From 2002 to 2005, he received his doctorate from A&M University in Tokyo, Japan. He is in charge of the National Natural Fund Project, the major special sub-project of the national cultivation of new varieties of genetically modified organisms, the overseas scholars' research funding project for returned overseas students, and the China postdoctoral fund project; Northeast Agricultural University participated in the national 973 and 863 projects of the Key Laboratory of Soybean Biology of the Ministry of Education, and published more than 20 papers successively. Two monographs, published papers and reports in international and domestic societies for many times, mainly engaged in soybean genetics and breeding and biotechnology application research.
