At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Chen Youliang, commander-in-chief of the Red Scarf Army of the Peasant Uprising Army, moved to Jiangzhou (now Jiujiang, Jiangxi) in the second year of Tianding (1359) under the support of Xu Shouhui, and established himself as Hanwang. The following year, Xu Shouhui was killed in quarrying. He established himself as Emperor Han, righteously, Zou Pusheng as a surname and Zhang Bixian as prime minister. Chen Han and Ming Xia, Han Song and Zhu Yuanzhang's Western Wu were divided into the south, and the north competed with the Yuan Dynasty.
Chen Han insisted on resisting Yuan and fighting Zhu Yuanzhang. In the third year of Dading (1363), Chen Youliang died in the battle with Zhu Yuanzhang in Poyang Lake. After Chen Youliang's death, Zhang Dingbian and others established Chen Li, the second son of Chen Youliang, as emperor in Wuchang, and changed his life to Deshou. Later, according to Zhang Dingbian's story, it was adapted into a drama "Jiujiang Mouth". The following year, Zhu Yuanzhang went to Wuchang City, David Li Chen surrendered, and Chen Han perished.
