It is no exaggeration to meet again after more than ten years and describe him as different and sit up and take notice. He is the Tao Boyang I met in Lijiaping, Qiyang in the 1990s. Now he is only 36 years old, but he has many titles, such as member of China Calligraphy Association, member of Hunan Calligraphy Association, executive director of China Calligraphers Association, director of China Youth Calligraphy Association, young calligrapher of Bai Jie, China, member of Hunan Youth Federation, etc. His real occupation is a senior professional manager with a master's degree. Tao was born in a remote mountain village in Shidongyuan, Qiyang County. From the beginning of literacy, he has formed an indissoluble bond with pen and ink. Under the guidance of his father who loves calligraphy, Tao cultivated his initial interest in calligraphy from Yan and Liu Kaishu. However, Tao's truly selfless pursuit of calligraphy began when he was a junior high school student at the age of 12. At that time, in order to draw artistic nutrition from famous calligraphy posts of past dynasties, Tao used all the pocket money his parents gave him to buy a large number of copybooks and calligraphy monographs, which were all over Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Ou Yangxun, Su Dongpo, Mi Fei and Zhao Mengfu. 1988, when he 14 years old, he published his first calligraphy work in junior high school. 199 1 won the first prize in the national pen calligraphy competition for middle school students. From then on, he liked calligraphy more until he graduated from college.
Fate tends to favor those who are willing to work hard. After graduating from college, Tao was selected by the chairman of Hunan Xiaoxiang Group, a large state-owned enterprise, because of his special skills in calligraphy and writing. After taking part in the work, he never relaxed his practice of calligraphy, making his works and calligraphy correct. For the sake of career planning, I was invited to hold senior leadership positions in many well-known enterprises, such as directors, vice presidents, assistant to the chairman, secretary of the board of directors, chief executive officers and general managers, such as Hunan Ansu Group, People's Pharmaceutical Group and Xinhualian Group, a top 500 enterprise in China, and studied for MBA in Hunan University. Despite the busy daily management and heavy learning tasks, he is still obsessed with calligraphy. Over the years, like a tireless bee, he flew around in the "flowers" of famous calligraphy posts of past dynasties, picking those delicious "pollen" and drawing nutrition from calligraphy. After more than 20 years of hard work and exploration, Yang Tao's wave shape has become a unique calligraphy style. Tao's calligraphy style is Gu Zhuo, and his regular script works are very Liu Ti, Europeanized, original and elegant. His running script works have the shape of Mi Fei's calligraphy, and the layout is like flowing water, grand and magnificent, full of vitality in big places and smart in small places; See chic in simplicity and unrestrained in exquisiteness. His calligraphy works appeal to both refined and popular tastes, and have been praised and encouraged by contemporary calligraphers such as Qi Gong, Li Duo, Chen Ximing and He Manzong. He has published more than 400 calligraphy works in People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Workers' Daily, China Youth Daily, Procuratorate Daily, Legal Daily, Beijing Daily, Hunan Daily and Calligraphy Daily. His calligraphy works have been selected for many calligraphy exhibitions sponsored or co-organized by China Calligraphy Association, Hunan Calligraphy Association and China Calligraphers Association. He has won more than 30 gold, silver and first prizes in international and domestic calligraphy competitions such as' 94 International Hard Pen Calligraphers' Exhibition,' 98 China Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Art Grand Prix, Hunan Calligraphy Seal-cutting Exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the first youth calligraphy exhibition at home and abroad, and the New Star Award. The National Calligraphy Competition to commemorate the centenary of Mao Zedong's birth and the National Calligraphy Competition to commemorate the centenary of Liu Shaoqi's birth, some of their calligraphy works were well received by friends, enterprises and institutions at home and abroad. He has written and registered for many magazines and newspapers such as Liaoning Youth, Junior Middle School Students, Xiaoxiang Literature and Art; He was invited to write nearly 100 calligraphy works, such as company name, registration, enterprise spirit and plaque, for dozens of enterprises and institutions, such as Beijing Seltek Corporate Culture Exchange Center, Changsha Chutian Technology Company, People's Pharmaceutical Group and Hunan Bronn Group.
Tao Boyang is versatile. He is not only a calligrapher with superb skills and an entrepreneur with outstanding reputation, but also has high attainments in the fields of literature and journalism. From 65438 to 0996, he joined the Chinese Poetry Society, headed by the Chinese Writers Association, and served as a special correspondent and writer for many newspapers such as Economic Daily, Workers Daily, China Building Materials News and China Enterprise News. He has published nearly 300 essays, poems, novels, reportage and other literary works in Hunan Literature, Poetry Magazine and Prose Poetry, and won more than 20 prizes in various literary essay competitions at or above the county level. He published more than 400 economic papers, management papers and news works, such as Approaching Independent Directors, Causes and Countermeasures of Liquidity Shortage in State-owned Enterprises, in People's Daily, Workers' Daily, Xinhua Daily Telegraph and Hunan Daily, and won the third prize of 20001Hunan Good News and the first prize of China Building Materials Newspaper.
Success comes from hard work, and fruitful results are the crystallization of sweat and wisdom. Tao's calligraphy art and achievements have been commended by the relevant departments of provinces and cities, and he has won honorary titles at or above the provincial level, such as "Young Calligrapher of China", "Outstanding Person of the Third China Regional Economy", "Outstanding Professional Manager of China", "Top Ten Professional Managers of Hunan Province" and "Top Ten Young Secretaries of Hunan Province". China Daily, Hunan Daily, China Building Materials Daily, People's Daily, Sina.com and many other media also introduced his outstanding deeds. His artistic resume has also been included in dictionaries such as Who's Who of Contemporary Art in China, Dictionary of Contemporary Famous Painters and Calligraphers in China and Famous People in Hunan. However, in the face of honor and achievement, Tao is not complacent, and he still works and practices tirelessly. (Shi Shuhong)
