The competition events include bridge (the 4th Bridge World Games/kloc-0), chess, checkers and Go, and the specially invited event is chess.
According to the International Intelligence Alliance, Lille is the training base for the 20 12 London Olympic Games. The Grand Palace Hotel Lille, the venue of the Intellectual Games, is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and many hotels around, so Lille is very suitable for hosting the World Intellectual Games.
The first World Intellectual Games was successfully held in Beijing in 2008. However, the second World Intellectual Games was not successful. There was a delay. After many efforts, it was finally decided to host it in Lille, France. The major events set in the competition are basically the same as those in the first session (the first session of chess is a formal event and the second session is a special event). In addition, Texas Hold 'em, which has a high voice, did not enter the second intellectual games.
