Brief Introduction of Wang Xuezhong's Works in Wang Xuezhong Art Museum
Mr. Wang Xuezhong, pen name Ye Bo, was born in Tengzhou, Shandong Province on 1925 10. From 65438 to 0942, Wang Xuezhong studied in the Department of Chinese Painting of Beijing Jinghua Academy of Fine Arts, and later studied under the contemporary painter Mr. Xu Beihong at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. 1953 has been teaching in Tianjin University, and is currently the Dean of Wang Xuezhong Art College of Tianjin University. He is also a visiting professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Nankai University and Tsukuba University in Japan.

Wang Xuezhong 1942 was admitted to Beijing Jinghua Academy of Fine Arts. He studied in Beijing National Academy of Fine Arts (later Central Academy of Fine Arts) for ten years and was deeply influenced by masters such as Xu Beihong, Li Keran, Wu Jingting, Qi Baishi and Lin Fengmian. After graduation, he taught fine arts in Tianjin University for half a century. Over the years, he not only created countless works of Chinese painting, oil painting, calligraphy and seal cutting, but also published nearly 100 kinds of poems, ci fu, essays, literary theory and calligraphy and painting collections, trained a large number of disciples who enjoyed high reputation in the national literary and art circles, and devoted most of his life to China's literary and art undertakings and education undertakings.

June 65438+February 65438+June 2006, the 2nd China Calligraphy Lanting Award, one of the highest awards in contemporary China literary and art circles, was announced in Hefei, Anhui. Wang Xuezhong was elected by a high vote, and won the Lifetime Achievement Award of China Calligraphy Lanting Award, becoming the second person to win this honor after the master of Chinese studies and calligrapher Qi Gong.

At the Eighth National Congress of Literary and Art Circles held not long ago, Wang Xuezhong was hired as an honorary member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and he was one of the few calligraphers in China. At the beginning of 2006, the Russian Academy of Fine Arts also awarded Wang Xuezhong the title of honorary academician.
