In 2006, he was hired as a professor by the College of Literature of China Renmin University, and he was a representative poet of China intellectuals' writing since 1990s. His representative works include Beyond the Mountain, valentino's Ballad, Pasternak, Answer, Crow, Cliff Climbing, Memorial, etc. Wang Jiaxin's poetry creation has been widely concerned. He is regarded as one of the most important and influential poets after "misty poetry" and the main representative poet of "intellectual writing" in contemporary poetry. In the 1980s, masterpieces included Chinese painting and scorpions. In the early 1990s, he wrote valentino's Ballad, Pasternak and Reversal, which attracted people's attention and started a new stage. Later, during his stay in Europe, he wrote A Lonely House by the Sea, Kafka, Woke Up, Fragments of a Series of Long Poems, A Writing Diary, A Group of Poems, London Essays and so on. His influence in China's poetry circle is gradually increasing, and his creative realm tends to be open. He tried to write a rare history of poetry creation by talking to many dead people. There are often alarming monologues in his works, which have painful meanings. 1994 After returning to China, he began a new exploration of poetry, represented by elegy and the long poem Answer. His recent masterpieces include 1976, pastoral poetry, long poem Youth, poem fragment series Poetry in Winter, and poem fragment series Dark Mirror. His works have been selected into various modern and contemporary poems in China and translated into English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, Japanese and Korean. He was invited to participate in international poetry festivals and academic conferences in the United States, Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Japan and other countries for many times, and was invited to give lectures and recite in some famous universities in Europe and America as a resident poet. He has won many domestic poetry awards and prose awards, including the first "China Institute of Contemporary Literature Award" (2009). There are many special comments and research articles on Wang Jiaxin's poems at home and abroad, and the textbooks of China's contemporary literature history published by Peking University and Fudan University in recent years are mainly based on introduction and comments. The poem Beyond the Mountain was selected by People's Education Society as a Chinese textbook for Grade One and Pasternak as a Chinese reader for Grade Two. While writing poetry, Wang Jiaxin has been thinking and discussing poetry and poetics. His achievements in the fields of poetry theory, China's criticism of modern and contemporary poetry, comparative study of Chinese and western modern poetry, translation study and Celan's translation study have aroused widespread concern and response in the field of poetry and literature. The poet Xi Du said, "Wang Jiaxin is a poet who has made great contributions to contemporary poetry. He began to write from the age of misty poetry, and after several changes, he gradually formed a mature style. His poems are not won by complicated techniques, but are characterized by an open realm and deep feelings, showing personal psychological changes in complicated historical reality. Wang Jiaxin is also an important poetry critic, and some of his critical articles and poetic theory articles had a great influence on the formation of poetic atmosphere in 1990s. Wu Xiaodong, a professor in Peking University, called Wang Jiaxin's poetry-centered writing "the revelation of China's poetry world". Wang Jiaxin can be said to be a "root-seeking" poet, which constitutes the double support of poetic language and life existence. The persistent pursuit of "etymology" has therefore brought a rare depth to Wang Jiaxin's poetry: the depth of metaphor, the depth of thought and the depth of life. Wang Jiaxin's irreplaceable position in China's poetry in 1990s is related to his persistence and inner depth. It is not enough to master his poems only technically. Wang Jiaxin's poetry can be regarded as the revelation of contemporary China's poetry, symbolizing an inner spiritual awakening in the field of poetry. -Wu Xiaodong's Poems of Wang Jiaxin
