The real names of the members of the modern little sisters in the grassland.
Long Mei, Yu Rong.

On February 9th, 1964, 12-year-old Long Mei and 9-year-old sister Yu Rong were herding 384 sheep from the commune. Suddenly, a snowstorm came and more than 300 sheep ran wildly. In order not to let the collective sheep suffer, the two sisters tried their best to catch up with the sheep and walked out of more than 30 kilometers overnight, both of which were severely frostbitten. After the vigorous rescue of cadres and the masses, both heroes and sisters were out of danger. However, due to severe frostbite, Long Mei lost his left toe, and Yu Rong's right leg was amputated below the knee joint and his left ankle joint. Because of their heroic deeds, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee awarded them the glorious title of modern little sisters in the grassland.
