Fu Lei introduced
Fu Lei (1908- 1966) is a famous literary translator and critic in China. He has translated a wealth of works in his life, which is characterized by vivid expressions, fluent writing, rich words and changeable colors. There are 34 translated works, including romain rolland's masterpiece Christopher john cleese, Beethoven's Biography, Michelangelo's Gigi Biography and Tolstoy's Biography, which won Nobel Prize in Literature. His posthumous works, Twenty Lectures on World Famous Works of Fine Arts and Fu Lei's Letters, are also deeply loved by readers and reprinted many times. More than one million words of works are also included in Fu Lei's collection. In order to express sincere praise for his translation, in recent years, he has also published various sets of illustrations, such as Twenty Lectures on World Famous Fine Arts, Biography of Michelangelo, Biography of Beethoven, Rodin's Theory of Art, Philosophy of Art and john cleese Dover. Mr. Fu Lei is magnanimous and resolute. He was persecuted at the beginning of the "Cultural Revolution". 1In the early morning of September 3, 966, he and his wife Zhu Meifu both died in anger, tragically ending their lives.
