General Luo Binghui is an outstanding strategist in our country. He led thousands of troops and made many achievements. He is one of the famous 36 military strategists.

Luo Binghui (1897- 1946) is from yiliang county. Former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Eighth Route Army. In his early years, he joined the Yunnan Army as a soldier and participated in the Yuan Protection War and the Northern Expedition War. He quickly accepted the progressive ideas and secretly joined China in July 1929. 1989, Luo Binghui was identified as one of 36 military strategists by the Central Military Commission, and he was the only general in Yunnan who won this honor. On September 4th, 2009, Luo Binghui was named as one of the hero models 100 who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China.
