This legendary experience is like this. According to Master Yan Yan, one year, an old monk from Yi Sheng went to Putuo Mountain and closed his eyes for about two hours. After worshipping Buddha, he opened his eyes and saw Guanyin Bodhisattva in front of him. So, what is Guanyin like? The old monk Yi Sheng said that he followed the Bodhisattva from Brahma Cave to Zizhulin. Bodhisattva wears a crown and a head, holding a pot of lotus and a wonderful crystal. When he arrived at Zizhulin, the Bodhisattva handed the scriptures to the old monk. The old monk Yi Sheng couldn't understand, so he asked Guanyin Bodhisattva what she meant. Avalokitesvara immediately put down the basin and picked it up three times. The old monk made it clear that he got scriptures and a red ancestral costume from the bodhisattva basin. Yi Sheng, an old monk, later told his disciples that the Bodhisattva put down the basin three times, which meant that Yi Sheng, the master, could give lectures three years later. The most incredible thing is that after three years, the old monk Yi Sheng really started to talk about the Lotus Sutra. So where is the Lotus Sutra sent by Guanyin Bodhisattva?
It turns out that Yi Sheng, an old monk, printed 1000 Buddhist scriptures and put them together after he returned to Hong Kong. The old monk never regarded it as a personal treasure, but wanted everyone who came to recite the scriptures to become attached to Guanyin Bodhisattva. The disciple of the old monk Yi Sheng praised: "Master is really persistent in everything."
